Beyond the Rail - Framed and Matted Copper Works
Beyond the Rail
A single moment—suspended between earth and sky—where instinct outruns restraint.
With the last rail behind it, the horse surges forward in a burst of muscle, wind, and will, its mane unraveling like threads of thunder across a fading horizon. The fence, weathered and worn, stands not as a barrier but as a marker—the final line between what was known and what lies ahead.
Bathed in warm, burnished light and set against a restless sky, the scene carries both tension and release. There’s a quiet defiance here… a refusal to be held, contained, or defined. The textures—raw, layered, alive—mirror the untamed spirit at the heart of the piece.
Beyond the Rail isn’t just about the leap.
It’s about the choice to take it.
